Sahman’s village is home to coffee trees, and guests can follow the full journey from freshly picked beans to a cup of coffee prepared entirely by hand using traditional Sasak methods.
Note, like any natural produce, the beans will be seasonal.
Harvesting: walk through the coffee trees and pick ripe beans alongside local farmers.
Roasting: beans are roasted over an open fire using traditional methods.
Grinding: the roasted beans are ground by hand with a stone mortar and wooden pestle.
Brewing: the fresh coffee is prepared and shared together in the heart of the village.
